Job Description
The Production Planner is responsible for effectively planning and scheduling production to ensure efficient operations. This role involves coordinating with various departments and utilizing ERP systems to optimize supply chain processes.
Responsibilities
+ Plan and schedule production activities to meet business objectives.
+ Collaborate with different departments to ensure smooth production operations.
+ Utilize ERP systems for effective production planning and scheduling.
+ Manage inventory and control materials to support production needs.
+ Develop and maintain accurate production schedules.
+ Implement and monitor LEAN manufacturing practices.
+ Forecast future production requirements and adjust plans accordingly.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with ERP systems and Advanced Production Scheduling (APS).
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
+ Knowledge of supply chain management and production control.
+ Advanced manufacturing experience.
+ Strong skills in inventory management and material planning.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ LEAN Manufacturing skills.
+ Experience with complex Bill of Materials.
Work Environment
The role operates in a dynamic and collaborative manufacturing environment. The use of advanced technologies like ERP systems is integral to the position. The work hours are structured to meet production demands, and adherence to a business-casual dress code is expected.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $95000.00/hr.
