Description
+ Fabrication will include the ability to machine hardware and fixtures utilizing CNC Machines and Lathes to Engineering Drawing specifications.
+ Should also be able to work with Sheet Metal to fabricate boxes and panels when required.
+ In addition, these lower-level assemblies are to be built-up into single, or multi-bay cabinet assemblies, for the delivery to Engineering or Manufacturing Production areas.
+ This position will provide the opportunity for the candidate to work as individual contributor, in a team environment.
+ This would include collaborating with Engineers, and other members of the Fabrication team including other Fabricators, Draftsmen, Procurement, and Quality Inspectors.
Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance
+ 5+ years of experience is required in other Mechanical fabrication environments including the use of CNC Machines and Lathes or maintenance of military design product.
+ 5+ years of experience is required with fabricating mechanical equipment designed from a blueprint, schematic, and engineering guides.
+ 5+ years of experience is required with communicating issues (both verbal and written) with the design and/or the process requirements to management and or engineers.
+ 5+ years of experience is required with utilizing software tools and Microsoft products
+ Must be able to determine the metal stretch with respect to the metal type and bend radius required.
+ Ability to fabricate test equipment designs from a blueprint of the layout, schematic, bill of material, and engineering practices manual as guidelines.
+ Self-starter able to perform tasks with minimal supervision
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.89 - $38.89/hr.
