Job Title: Controls Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to review, program, and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLC logic. You will lead continuous improvement projects, participate in lean plant floor layout, and review and approve electrical and controls schematics and assembly systems BOM. You will also work with RSLogix 5000, RSLinx, lift assists, and pneumatic devices.
Responsibilities
+ Review, program, and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLC logic for proper content, error-proofing, and data collection functions.
+ Lead continuous improvement projects.
+ Participate in lean plant floor layout, including value-add, error-proof, visual factory, and Kan BAN material flow.
+ Review and approve electrical and controls schematics and assembly systems BOM.
+ Develop PFMEAs, Operation Instructions, Controls Plans, and Process Flow Charts.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with RSLogix 5000 and RSLinx.
+ Proficiency in PLC programming, automation, HMI, electrical troubleshooting, and robotics.
+ Experience with Rockwell, Studio 5000, and FANUC robotics.
+ Knowledge of Kanban systems and electrical design.
+ Experience with HMI programming.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with lift assists and pneumatic devices, including valves and cylinders.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $65.00/hr.
