    As directed, performs a variety of warehousing duties, which require an understanding of the establishments’ storage plan, Inventory Programs and bar scanner operations. Will have full oversight over Warehouse Operations and report directly to the Deputy Project Manager.

    Responsibilities

    + Works under the supervision of the Deputy Project Manager. The LEAD Warehouse Specialist will act independently or assist in the performance of any and all duties necessary to keep the facility in full operation. Will perform other duties as assigned.

    + The duties listed below are not set forth for purposes of limiting the assignment of work. They should not be construed as a complete list of the various duties normally performed by the individuals assigned to the Warehouse department or those to be performed temporarily outside an employee’s normal line of work.

    + Will have full authority over Warehouse Specialists, Order Fillers, and all other warehouse personnel, and responsible for all day-to-day operations of warehouse.

    + Arranging and taking inventory of stored materials.

    + Examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage.

    + Removing materials from storage and preparing it for shipment.

    + Inputs data into computer, keeps records and submits reports to supervisor.

    + Utilizes inventory programs and bar scanner equipment.

    + Reports discrepancies in orders to Deputy Project Manager Routes and or directs materials to prescribed storage locations and stacks or palletizes materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods.

    + Keep records of outgoing orders, requisitions additional stock and reports short supplies to supervisor.

    + May operate hand or power trucks in performing warehouse duties.

    + Assists with receiving, packaging, and unpacking and inventorying of supply items as needed.

    + Work is completed in a priority established by supervision or facility need.

    + All work will be completed with a high degree of professionalism, quality and craftsmanship.

    + Lulls in workload are used to maintain a clean and orderly work area and to ensure clerical tasks are up to date.

    + Keeps up to date on departmental and facility safety standards and local codes and policies.

    Qualifications

    + A high school diploma or GED is required.

    + (2) Two years supervisory experience. Computer experience a plus.

    + Must have inter/intra communication skills with employees and department heads.

    + Must be able to follow Standard Codes of Conduct pertaining to interaction with detainee population.

    + May lift or push up to 50 lbs.

    + For extended periods of time may be required to stand, walk, squat, kneel, sit, bend, reach and climb.

    + Work may involve using ladders and lifts.

    + Work areas may include all areas of the warehouse or facility.

    + May be exposed to industrial chemicals and solvents.

    + Majority of work in air-conditioned facility.

    + Must be at least 21 years of age.

    + Must be able to pass extensive background investigation and drug testing.

    + Random drug testing will be performed.

    Schedule:

    Monday – Friday 7:00 – 3:30 pending government or Company needs.
