Summary About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the 780th Military Intelligence Brigade, 782D Military Intelligence Battalion, in Fort Eisenhower, Georgia. Responsibilities Develop Intelligence operations planning concepts using Signals Intelligence, Computer Network Exploitation, and Cyberspace Operations mastery skills. Analyze Intelligence Operations plan concepts and coordinate Cyberspace Operations/Computer Network Operations plan development. Research, develop and review Intelligence Operations plans, policies, and implementing directives for compliance with higher command operations plans, policies, and directives. Coordinate development, preparation, and implementation of supporting plans with appropriate staff office. Collaborate with Cyber operators to identify and levy requirements for information, collection, and analysis. Plan, coordinate, and implement support for exercises and real world operations. Identify Intelligence gaps and assist in developing operational programs by reviewing message traffic, Intelligence information and data analysis. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one (1) year of experience equivalent to at least the GG/GS-13 which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as experience developing and maintaining intelligence operations planning concepts pertaining to Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Computer Network Exploitation (CNE) and Cyberspace Operations; analyzing intelligence operations plans/concepts to assist in the coordination of Cyberspace Operations/Computer Network Operations plan development; establishing and maintaining regular and direct liaison and coordinates with senior level officials at various national, theater, service, and tactical organizations/units; and, reviewing, researching and writing intelligence operations plans, policies, and implementing directives for compliance with various established policies and procedures. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level in the federal service (GG/GS-13). Progressively responsible experience is that which has included intelligence-related research, analysis, collections and /or operations. This experience should have included intelligence analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or operations, counterintelligence, or threat support directly related to the position to be filled. This experience should demonstrate: Knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle and organizations; Knowledge of and/or ability to use research tools such as library holdings, photographs, statistics, graphics and maps; Knowledge of the systems, procedures and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting and disseminating intelligence data; and/or Knowledge of organization(s) for and methods of collecting and analyzing intelligence data.
