SUMMARY OF THE JOB :
The RPA Solution Architect is a dynamic role that involves designing and developing robots on a stack of Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Optical Character Recognition (OCR), and Machine Learning using Automation platform. You will make automation transformation in such domains as Finance, Banking, Loans and other. RPA Solution Architect will be challenged to handle the volume, hybrid of machine learning and rule-based models, satisfying complex business rules.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
+ Lead projects within Automation. Work with Product Owner/Business Analysts to understand functional requirements and interact with other cross-functional teams to architect, design, develop, test, and release Automations
+ Develop Proof-of-Concept projects to validate new technology and solutions
+ Support development of a RPA / OCR / Automations using Lean methodology
+ Provide architectural guidance to multiple teams building automations
+ Drive common standards, practices and capabilities across teams
+ Demonstrates good leadership skills and acts as a role model to others within the department
+ Responsible for in-depth troubleshooting; determining the appropriate course of action to resolve incidents with minimal business disruption and determining the root cause of the problems with automation application / platform
+ Elicit and gather requirements for automation projects by working directly with internal and external customers
+ Assist with building automation strategies and frameworks based on planned and prioritized automation work
+ Identify, design, and develop creative solutions for practical automation problems during design, scripting, execution, or maintenance
+ Assist with manual testing as needed to help the development team meet schedule commitments
+ Promote, recommend, and implement improvements to automation frameworks and processes
+ Participates in technical training programs and self-directed learning to help in the support of the business units with automation needs
+ Able to work within time and budget constraints at times meeting demanding delivery dates
+ Familiarity with Automation tools like WorkFusion, UiPath or MS Power Automate preferred
+ Able to map and develop business processes
+ Able to develop Process Definition Document (PDD) - including keystroke documents
Minimum knowledge/skills:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science preferred or equivalent work experience.
+ Understanding /exposure to overall Automation concepts & fundamentals. Experience in defining Automation architecture, implementations and deployment
+ Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work well within a team
+ Stakeholder management experience
+ 3 years automation experience, 1 years as technical lead for Automation development
+ Banking experience a plus
+ Three years’ experience using Automation Tools (WorkFusion, UiPath, Blueprism, MS Power Automate etc.)
+ Two-year experience on how RPA robots work and how to build automations
+ Basic knowledge of Machine Learning and Integrations
+ Critical thinking to be able to work with high level requirements
+ Understanding of distributed systems and applications’ integration
+ Understanding of design patterns and Object Oriented Programing
+ Basic administration knowledge of Unix/Linux and MS Windows
+ Experience in performance analysis and optimizations
+ Excellent written and oral communications skills
+ Ability to function independently with minimal oversight, direction and as part of a team
+ Strong sense of project ownership
+ Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
+ Ability to multitask
