The Research Project Manager is responsible for leading and implementing projects that support strategic initiatives within a research institute and, when needed, across a broader enterprise. This role focuses on process improvement, change management, and systems implementation, ensuring efficient execution and alignment with institutional goals.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Project Management: Oversee assigned projects, including planning, scope, deliverables, timelines, communication, and training.

+ Strategic Implementation: Support the Program Manager in developing and executing plans for the project management office.

+ Process Improvement: Drive initiatives aimed at optimizing workflows, resource allocation, and operational efficiencies.

+ Business Analysis & RFP Management: Conduct financial assessments, project charters, RFPs, and vendor evaluations to support decision-making.

+ Stakeholder Collaboration: Educate and engage stakeholders on project methodologies, ensuring effective communication and project alignment.

+ Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks, lead corrective actions, and ensure compliance with organizational policies.

+ Metrics & Reporting: Develop measurement strategies to assess project effectiveness, ROI, and success metrics.

+ Team Leadership: Guide cross-functional teams, assist in training, and oversee Business Analyst activities as required.

Required Qualifications:

+ Education: Bachelor’s degree.

+ Experience: 3+ years in project management, quality, or process improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ 5+ years in project management, process improvement, and business analysis.

+ 1+ year managing cross-functional teams.

+ Experience in healthcare or research-related environments.

+ PMP, CAPM, CSSGB, or CSSBB certifications.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
