Core Responsibilities
Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership
+ Manage and develop a team of Demand Planners to build accurate demand plans across various timeframes and product categories, promoting a culture of responsibility and continuous improvement.
+ Serve as the primary voice of demand in executive-level discussions, communicating risks, opportunities, and forecast assumptions clearly and persuasively.
+ Partner with Commercial and Supply Chain leadership to balance demand opportunities and supply constraints in a constantly evolving environment.
+ Serve as an active member of the U.S. Market Operations leadership team, contributing to strategic commercial outcomes, enhancing employee motivation and satisfaction, and advancing key departmental initiatives.
+ Guide cross-functional alignment between Demand and Supply & Inventory Planning teams to identify and resolve demand-supply imbalances, leading central initiatives that mitigate risk and optimize commercial performance.
Strategy
+ Own the S&OP demand planning process, ensuring alignment across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to meet volume and revenue targets.
+ Lead the integration of global statistics, regional trends, and marketing inputs for a comprehensive view of U.S. shipments and consumer demand.
Innovation & Process Excellence
+ Serve as a strategic leader in advancing the evolution of our Demand Planning systems, processes, and tools.
+ Collaborate with global partners to design and implement scalable dashboards and reporting frameworks, enabling real-time insights and enhancing planning agility.
+ Improve forecasting capabilities by applying standard methodologies, growing the efficiency of statistical models, and using analytics and market insights.
+ Foster a culture of continuous improvement by mentoring peers and promoting the adoption of standard methodologies throughout the entire demand planning organization.

The U.S. Market Operations team plays a pivotal role in unlocking the full value of The LEGO Group offerings for our retail partners. Through strategic cross-functional collaboration, we synchronize sales planning, anticipate item-level demand, and implement shipment strategies with precision—ensuring timely delivery of both program and replenishment inventory that supports our growth within our B2B retail partners. At the heart of this operation is the Demand Planning team, responsible for forecasting both consumer sales and shipment volume across the U.S. market. Our mission is to deliver forecasts of the highest accuracy—enabling our supply chain partners to plan with confidence, while empowering the U.S. BU to provide exceptional service and responsiveness to our retail customers. By connecting insight and action, we help ensure that The LEGO Group remains a trusted and valued partner.
Do you have what it takes?
+ Significant progressive experience in demand planning, forecasting, or integrated business planning within the consumer packaged goods industry.
+ Demonstrated experience leading and developing high-performing planning teams.
+ A focus on achieving goals, demonstrating a history of making a real difference through detailed forecasting and productive teamwork across departments.
+ Experience planning in an omni-channel environment, with an understanding of the unique dynamics across DTC, e-commerce, and traditional retail channels.
+ Established analytical foresight, applying the capability to analyze large and complex datasets to reveal trends, inspire insights, and guide strategic decisions.
+ Expertise in leading S&OP or Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes across multiple functions.
+ Outstanding interpersonal and influencing skills; able to build trust, navigate ambiguity, and align diverse collaborators across functions and levels.
+ Proficient in applying dashboards and visualization tools for proactive monitoring of performance, issue diagnosis, and effective communication of insights.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English and the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
+ Exceptional interpersonal and leadership presence, with the ability to build trust, influence without authority, and align cross-functional partners at all levels. Skilled at navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in a dynamic, fast-paced commercial environment.
+ Proficiency in Tableau and Power BI, using these tools to deliver strategic insights and enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.
+ Strong command of the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, to effectively manage data, build models, and communicate strategic insights to diverse collaborators.
+ Proven experience leading or supporting change management initiatives within a supply chain or planning function—demonstrating the ability to drive process improvements, foster adoption of new tools and systems, and guide cross-functional teams through periods of transformation with clarity and confidence.

Compensation
The salary for this position has a range of $156,400 - $234,600 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalization of the employment offer.
