Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept
As a Deputy Program Manager, you will serve a crucial role in maintaining and managing senior level client relationships to enhance and expand their program area(s). You will be responsible for collaborating with key stakeholders to develop and implement Program Management goals; providing oversight to a team of Project Managers, Designers, Developers, and Engineers; establish budgetary control and profitability; develop short-term and long-term strategies for the overall success of program(s). You will work with clients and organize, direct, and manage task related operational support functions and complex and interrelated project tasks for both classified and non-classified environments.
What will you do?
+ Provide full life cycle program management across procurement, contracts, and project execution.
+ Lead program performance efforts, including strategic planning, research, and new program initiatives.
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners to ensure satisfaction.
+ Monitor contract performance and contract compliance; identify and implement improvements throughout the contract lifecycle.
+ Manage contractual actions, including modifications and compliance requirements.
+ Develop and review statements of work (SOW), subcontract agreements, and purchase orders.
+ Establish and manage service-level agreements (SLAs), including risk mitigation and quality assurance measures.
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for all program-related questions, issues, and performance matters.
+ Act as a subject-matter expert (SME) on contracts and SOWs, providing internal guidance and support.
+ Communicate client-driven changes to internal teams, including updates to scope, resources, or timelines.
+ Take ownership of projects, including timeline development, resource allocation, progress tracking, and risk management.
+ Coordinate the development and delivery of products and services.
+ Lead program control activities, including pipeline strategy, opportunity forecasting, and performance tracking.
+ Collect, analyze, and report monthly metrics on program and project performance.
+ Adapt quickly to shifting project requirements, issues, or changes.
Requirements
+ A Bachelor's degree in Program Management, IT Business, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
+ 5+ years of program/project management or relevant professional experience.
+ Exceptional technical aptitude with an understanding of both technical and creative processes.
+ Effective verbal and written communication skills.
+ Demonstrated experience drafting and presenting technical documentation.
+ Experience with managing using DevOps concepts.
+ Excellent organizational skills and experience managing Project Schedules.
+ Experience using success metrics to derive actionable insights across program initiatives and deliverable actionable results.
+ A positive, enthusiastic attitude towards work and confidence to drive a team of technical and non-technical members to get the best project results.
+ Demonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
+ Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
+ Ability to travel up to 25% based on company and customer needs
+ This is a hybrid position and currently requires three days in office (Tuesday to Thursday) at one of our facilities in Tampa FL, Nashville TN or McLean VA
Preferred Qualifications
+ Served as an officer at Military Department Level.
+ Experience in a consulting or leadership capacity supporting government contracts with the DoD as a PM
+ Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Clearance Requirements
+ Applicants must be a U.S. Citizen and willing and eligible to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance at the Secret or Top-Secret level. Existing clearance is preferred.
