Job Description:

Position Responsibilities:

+ Provide expert clinical care in behavioral neurology, including dementia, Alzheimer's disease, and related cognitive disorders

+ Participate in multidisciplinary clinics and contribute to the development of innovative models of care

+ Engage in the education and supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows

+ Contribute to the research mission of the department through participation in clinical, translational, or basic research

+ Collaborate with colleagues across the University of Florida’s robust neuroscience and aging networks, including the McKnight Brain Institute and the 1Florida ADRC.

Expected Salary:

Commensurate with experience and education.

Required Qualifications:

+ MD or equivalent

+ Board certified or board eligible in Neurology

+ Completion of fellowship training in Behavioral Neurology or a related subspecialty

+ Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Florida

Preferred:

Demonstrated interest in academic medicine and scholarly activity

Experience in clinical research and/or grant funding

Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
