Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY

The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a skilled member of the health team who provides medical and educational services to patients in collaboration with a licensed physician.

Park Falls is an RHC ambulatory site with a critical access hospital attached. We are considered a tri-campus as we have a dental center onsite as well. Park Falls is a full-scope practice, and we receive many specialty outreach from our neighboring facility in Minocqua.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

_For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation._

**Minimum Required:** Master’s Degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant.

**Preferred/Optional:** None

EXPERIENCE

**Minimum Required:** one to two years in specialty

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

_The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position._

**Minimum Required:** Current State of Wisconsin Nurse License or Nurse Compact License, and Nurse Practitioner Licensure. Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) License. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire. Additional department-specific certifications, licenses, or memberships may be required (varies by department/location).

**Preferred/Optional:** Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire.
