The Role

Kyndryl Project Managers lead the successful delivery of complex projects—on time, within scope, and on budget. As the primary point of contact for clients and internal teams, you’ll drive execution, manage risk, and ensure alignment across all stakeholders.

You’ll build detailed project plans, lead cross-functional teams, and oversee meetings, financials, and deliverables. You’ll also adapt to evolving priorities, ensuring value delivery—not just task completion.

Strong communication is key. You’ll manage client expectations, coordinate with technical and business teams, and foster a collaborative, customer-first environment. Whether embedded on-site or working virtually, you’ll build trusted relationships that drive long-term success.

Becoming a Project Manager at Kyndryl is an excellent gateway to many different paths. You’ll be creating a well-rounded skillset while gaining professional certifications and qualifications. You can evolve horizontally into other technical or non-technical areas such as Technical Service Architect, or you can move vertically to become a senior project manager or program manager. There are many different types and flavors of PM roles, so everyone can find the opportunity that suits them best.

Required Technical and Professional Experience

+ Bachelor’s degree required

+ Must be a US Citizen and ability to obtain government security clearance

+ 10+ years of project management experience

+ SCRUM or traditional project management expertise

+ Basic understanding of IT architecture

+ PMI certification (PMP or ACP) and foundational Azure or AWS certification

+ Strong planning, organization, and team leadership skills

+ Fluent in English (written and verbal)

+ Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, SharePoint and Teams

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

+ Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

+ Experience working with cross-functional and global teams

Compensation

The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $96,480 to 183,240 based on a full-time schedule. Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills, and experience. For part-time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city, or local minimum wage requirement.

There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:

California:$106,080 to $219,840

Colorado: $96,480 to $183,240

New York City: $115,680 to $219,840

Washington: $106,080 to $201,480

Washington DC:$106,080 to $201,480

This position will be eligible for Kyndryl’s discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl’s applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
