    This is a Summer Internship position that we’d expect will end in August

    SUMMARY OF POSITION:

    This internship provides hands-on experience in healthcare project management. Under the guidance of executive and service line leadership, the intern will work on strategically critical projects that support operational improvements and contribute to financial and operational excellence initiatives. The role offers exposure to applying project management methodologies to real-world healthcare problems.

     

    **ESSENTIAL DUTIES:** The percentage of time spent performing essential functions is 95%. Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties:

    + Responsible for conducting business in a professional manner, including respecting the confidentiality of information gathered.

    + Responsible for formulating specific objectives for their project to meet desired goals that have been mutually agreed upon with the preceptor

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

    + High school diploma or equivalent

    + Current junior or senior majoring in Business, Healthcare Policy/Administration, Engineering, or other related field.

    + Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

    + Strong commitment to making a direct impact on health system operations.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

    + Leadership experience and involvement in extracurricular activities.

    + Local candidates preferred.
