Black Wealth Data Center (BWDC) seeks an experienced **_BWDC_** **_Senior Program Manager_** to play a pivotal role in managing and executing our organizational strategy while ensuring our programs are effectively measured for impact. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong project management, evaluation, and stakeholder engagement skills. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of analytical expertise, program development experience, and a keen strategic acumen.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
_Strategy & Organizational Impact Measurement_
+ Develop, refine, and implement strategic initiatives to align with organizational goals.
+ Work closely with the Executive Director, Director of Programs and Partnerships, and leadership team to support organizational priorities and drive impact-focused decision-making.
+ Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
+ Develop and implement reporting for measuring, evaluating, and improving program effectiveness.
+ Synthesize data and insights to provide strategic recommendations and support organizational learning.
_Program Development, Management, and Improvement_
+ Design and oversee frameworks to assess program effectiveness and organizational impact.
+ Work with internal teams and external partners to enhance program effectiveness and sustainability.
+ Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging methodologies in strategy and evaluation.
+ Develop tools, resources, and training to support staff in strategy and impact measurement.
+ Identify opportunities for innovation, growth, and continuous improvement in programmatic initiatives.
+ Work with the Director of Operations to develop and manage budgets related to program activities.
_Stakeholder Engagement & Partnerships_
+ Cultivate relationships with funders, partners, and community stakeholders to strengthen program impact and organizational reach.
+ Represent the organization at key meetings, conferences, and other networking opportunities.
+ Collaborate with the development team to support grant writing, reporting, and donor engagement efforts.
_Evaluation and Reporting_
+ Design and manage data collection processes to assess program outcomes and impact.
+ Develop reports and presentations for internal leadership, funders, and external stakeholders.
+ Ensure compliance with grant and funding requirements related to program evaluation.
Minimum Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree.
+ Eight years of experience in program management, strategy, impact evaluation, or a related field, preferably in the non-profit or social impact sector.
+ Additional education may substitute for required experience and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond HS Diploma/Graduation Equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Master’s Degree in Social Sciences, Public Administration, or related field preferred.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in impact measurement and data-driven decision-making.
+ Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and deadlines simultaneously.
+ Experience working with diverse stakeholders, including funders, community partners, and policymakers.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience developing reports, presentations, and strategic documents.
+ Demonstrated ability to think strategically, drive results, and adapt in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Starting Salary Range: $99,800 - $175,000 Annually ($150,000 targeted- Commensurate with Experience)

The listed salary range represents the minimum and maximum Johns Hopkins University offers for this position, based on a good faith estimate at the time of posting. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as location, skills, experience, market conditions, education, and internal equity. Not all candidates will qualify for the highest salary in the range.
