Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking a dynamic and experienced **Senior Pricing Analyst** (Hybrid) to support the pricing function for our **Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions (CEMA) business area** . This role is responsible for driving pricing strategies, ensuring compliance with government regulations, and partnering closely with cross-functional program teams to develop competitive and compliant cost proposals.
The ideal candidate will bring an understanding of government contracting, strong analytical skills, and a strategic mindset to help position BAE Systems for continued growth and profitability. This role offers the opportunity to shape pricing strategies for some of the most advanced defense technologies in the industry.
This role will be performed in a **hybrid format** , with the individual splitting their time between working on-site at our offices in Nashua, NH, and remotely from an alternative work location. **To be considered for this role, applicants must currently reside within a reasonable daily commute of our offices in the greater Nashua, NH metro area** .
What you'll do:
+ Work independently and in a high-performing team environment to perform cost estimating and pricing functions during the proposal lifecycle, which includes new business proposals, Rough Orders of Magnitude (ROM) estimates, and program change proposals.
+ Work with team to ensure cost volumes are compliant with regulatory requirements and prepared in accordance with company practices.
+ Develop and maintain complex cost models, pricing structures, and proposal documentation.
+ Support implementation and utilization of a standardized Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
+ Perform Request for Proposal (RFP) and Statement of Work (SOW) analysis and compliance related to cost, schedule, and proposal submittals.
+ Apply lessons learned, assessment, and implementation of corrective action/improvements to estimating and pricing processes.
+ Support analysis of existing tools and development of new tools to improve proposal cost estimating and pricing functionality and efficiency.
+ Provide fact finding and negotiations support to proposal teams and contract managers.
+ Support internal and external (DCAA/DCMA) audit support as warranted.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Bachelor s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or related field plus 4 or more years of experience in proposal pricing or cost analysis.
+ Each higher level degree, i.e., master s degree may substitute for two years of experience. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
+ Solid analytical skills and ability to develop data driven insights.
+ Solid financial analysis experience.
+ High proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, SharePoint, and Teams.
+ Effective written and oral communication skills, with the ability to compose detailed reports, work-related documents, and deliver presentations to various audiences.
+ Ability to function in a high-paced, dynamic, team-work environment.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Willingness to learn and grow in role.
+ Previous pricing experience, including proficiency with ProPricer.
+ Experience within aerospace & defense industry.
+ Knowledge of government contracting regulations, including FAR and DFARS.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $81156 - $137964
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
