Position Summary
Samsung SDS America is seeking a highly organized and proactive Business Support Specialist to join our fast-paced SaaS organization. This hybrid role is an essential part of our brand new SaaS Sales Team, combining elements of executive assistance, sales operations, and business operations. You’ll be the operational backbone that keeps our sales leadership and team running smoothly, enabling them to focus on growth and customer engagement.
This role is based at our regional headquarters in Ridgefield Park, NJ, with a hybrid schedule (typically 3 days onsite). While located in our regional HQ, the Business Support Specialist will collaborate closely with a remote and geographically distributed global SaaS sales team, providing consistent and reliable support across time zones and business functions.
Strong communication skills, responsiveness, and comfort with virtual collaboration tools are essential for success.
This position support a newly formed global SaaS sales team focused on launching and driving growth for a strategic, high-priority eProcurement product.
As one of the foundational support roles for this go-to-market effort, you’ll have the unique opportunity to help build operational processes and play a meaningful part in a fast-growing area of the business. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our sales execution.
This role requires flexibility and proactive mindset, as duties may shift based on changing business priorities, team growth, or organizational needs.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable adapting to new challenges and taking on additional tasks that support the success of the sales team and broader business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Support
• Provide administrative support to sales leadership, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements.
• Prepare and submit expense reports and manage reimbursements in a timely manner.
• Support internal and external communications on behalf of sales leadership.
Sales Operations Support
• Assist with sales team logistics such as CRM data entry and reporting, contract routing, AP / AR, and document management.
• Help onboard new hires and ensure tools, systems, and processes are in place for smooth transition and successful start.
• Provide training to new and existing team members on tools, systems, and best practices.
• Coordinate logistics for client meetings, including arranging venues and providing necessary materials.
• Facilitate communication between SRM Team and other departments to ensure alignment and support.
Business Operations
• Support day-to-day operational tasks, including scheduling cross-functional meetings, tracking KPIs, and updating reports.
• Partner with Finance for travel budgets, team spend tracking, and ad hoc reporting.
• Identify process improvements to streamline workflows and increase efficiency across the team.
• Stay on top of industry trends

Requirements
• 3+ years of experience as an executive assistant, sales operations, or business operations in a SaaS or tech environment.
• Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication, with the ability to convey complex information clearly, concisely, and professionally to diverse audiences.
• Strong ability to follow up on open items and pending requests without being prompted, ensuring tasks are completed on time and stakeholders remain informed.
• Highly responsive to messages and inquires, with a methodical approach to tracing communication threads, documenting actions, and closing the loop with all relevant parties.
• Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and shifting priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
• Experience with travel and expense systems (e.g., Concur, Expensify).
• Professional, discreet, and able to handle sensitive information with integrity.
