    As a key member of our automotive maintenance technicians team, your work as a Diesel Mechanic will focus on the overall maintenance of equipment used by our company in the transportation and handling of vehicles. This will involve, inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical, hydraulics, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Perform routine maintenance and inspections on trucks and equipment

    + Conduct oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, and lubrication

    + Inspect brakes, fluid levels, belts, hoses, and other key components

    + Identify potential issues and report necessary repairs to the lead mechanic

    + Maintain accurate service records and reports

    + Keep work areas clean and organized in compliance with safety regulations

    + Assist with minor repairs and support the mechanic team as needed

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    + Minimum 1 year of proven experience in the field

    + Ability to adapt to a wide variety of environments to complete work assignments

    + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

    + Welding/fabrication experience, _a major plus_
