Waste Connections is currently hiring for a** **Roll Off Truck Driver** **at our hauling location in** **Monroe, Louisiana** **. This is a full-time, physically active position that requires working outdoors in all weather conditions. We’re looking for safety-conscious individuals who take pride in their work and want to be part of a dependable, team-driven environment.

Position Details:

+ **Schedule:** Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays

+ **Start Time:** 5:30 AM

+ **Hours:** 10–11 hours per day

+ **Starting Pay:** $21.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Primary Responsibilities:

+ Safely operate a roll off truck to pick up and transport waste containers from residential and commercial locations

+ Follow route sheets and instructions provided by dispatch to ensure timely and complete service

+ Perform daily vehicle inspections and routine maintenance such as checking fluids, lights, and tires

+ Operate hydraulic controls to lift, secure, and empty containers in a safe and efficient manner

+ Work independently in a physically demanding environment, including loading and unloading without assistance as needed

+ Maintain courteous and professional interactions with customers

+ Comply with all local, state, and federal transportation and safety regulations

+ Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Requirements:

+ Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with no manual restriction

+ Clean driving record with a minimum of 1 year of roll off driving experience
