    We’re looking for a Wi-Fi Test Engineer who is passionate about wireless networking and eager to contribute to the development of cutting-edge connectivity solutions.     Your Role

    • Design, develop, and execute test plans for Wi-Fi routers, extenders, and mesh networking systems.

    • Conduct functional, performance, and stress testing to assess Wi-Fi range, throughput, and reliability.

    • Evaluate roaming performance using 802.11k/v/r protocols to ensure seamless transitions between access points.

    • Analyze extender performance for coverage optimization, latency, and backhaul efficiency.

    • Use tools like Wireshark, iperf, and other industry-standard utilities to capture and analyze network behavior.

    • Stay current with Wi-Fi 6/6E/7 advancements and integrate best practices into testing strategies.

    • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python, shell scripting, or similar tools.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues.

    Your Skills and Experience

    • 8-10 years of experience as an engineer with wireless networking experience.

    • Required experience with 802.11 Wi-Fi standards, WiFi Security, WiFi Testing, WiFi Functional Testing, WiFi Performace Testing.

    • Strong understanding of 802.11 Wi-Fi standards, RF fundamentals, and wireless security protocols.

    • Hands-on experience with Wi-Fi routers, extenders, and mesh networking technologies.

    • Worked on gateway products or pure Wi-Fi routers like google Wi-Fi

    • Familiarity with band steering and cloud-managed Wi-Fi solutions.

    • Experience with roaming protocols (802.11k/v/r) and AP/extender configuration.

    • Proficiency in network debugging, packet analysis, and problem-solving.

    • Experience with test automation using Python, shell scripting, or similar tools.

    • Proficiency with Wi-Fi test tools such as Veriwave, IXIA Chariot, Alethea, Spirent, and analyzers like Wireshark and OmniPeek.

    • Basic knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DHCP, RADIUS, et

    • Experience developing and executing test strategies through both automation and manual testing.

    Preferred

    • Strong attention to detail and a proactive, collaborative mindset.

    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in diverse, cross-functional teams.
