    STATE PERSONNEL SYSTEM OPPORTUNITY

    Your Specific Responsibilities:

    This position will assist with the management, monitoring, and enforcement for the terms and conditons of various contracts for Escambia County Health Department (Escambia CHD) in accordance with Chapter 287.057(14), Florida Statutes. Must complete the FCCM training within first year of accepting this position. Back up for the Records Management Liaison Officer, Back up to the Inventory Custodian, Assists the Information Custodian described in Security Policy 3, areas of responsiblities assuring compliance with current Department of Health security policies. The Government Operations Consultant I will perform a wide range of duties under the direct supervision of the Operations & MGMT Consultant II - SES. Travel may be required.

     

    Responsible for Contract management activities, including but not limited to shredding, swim voucher, acquisition of all vehicles. janitorial, and follow up to the day-to-day related duties received through the IT Help Desk Ticketing System for janitorial needs.

     

    Purchasing goods and services for the Division using Purchasing card. Work in Ariba on Demand/ My Florida Market Place and WORKS. Serve as MFMP Champion and all systems required for Champions. Gate Keeper and Purchasing Agent for Vital Statistics, Client Registration, WIC, Community Health Nursing and Clinical Nursing, to include one-on-one coaching for MFMP users. Assist Contract Auditor with group trainings and future individual group trainings for MFMP/AOD. Serves as back-up to Contract Administrator for MOA’s, MOU’s and Escambia CHD contracts following Florida Statutes per local work unit porcess..

     

    Process incoming and outgoing mail daily, prepare all received checks for Department bank deposit.

     

    Assist as back-up to Records Management Liaison Officer for the Escambia CHD, assisting in compliance with records retention and destruction policies of the Department of Health Information Security Policy. Assist as back-up staff in identifying specific record retentions as needed, assists in records storage activities, including electronic records; provides training and work review of staff involved in the management of records. Provides aid to the Records Management Liaison Officer managing the onsite storage facilities, the archiving, retrieval, and disposal of all records; assists with maintaining the automated inventory database of all records placed in storage. Runs reports as requested in the absence of the RMLO. Assists as back-up to provide support to the Property Custodian delegate in accordance with DOHP 250-11 updating property records for the purchase and disposal of equipment. Responsible for assisting with annual Inventory of equipment. Attends Safety Committee meetings.
