POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is in the Business Office of the Jacksonville Regional Operations Center (JROC). This is a full-time position that works closely with the Jacksonville region supervisors and other personnel. It oversees and coordinates several administrative related duties required for the efficient functioning within the business office.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Specific duties include:
+ Assisting the Business Manager with administrative support, as assigned;
+ Utilizing FDLE and State of Florida software programs to include but not limited to Florida Accounting Information Resource ( FLAIR), Opening Reports, People First, TRIRIGA, MyFlorida Market Place (MFMP), Public Surplus, Automated Investigative Management System ( AIM), Microsoft Office Suite, and future software which may be implemented;
+ Processing paperwork per policy of any purchases, receiving and surplus of property;
+ Maintaining updated records of all Regional property assets;
+ Planning, coordinating and accomplishing activities of the annual State Property Inventory for JROC regional office; and
+ Adhering to policy standards for the use of issued State of Florida/FDLE Purchasing credit card.
Fleet Custodian:
+ Processing pool vehicle reservations;
+ Ensuring monthly vehicle logs are received, reviewed and electronic receipts are uploaded accurately; and
+ Assisting with vehicle repairs by issuing purchase order authorizations, advising of available authorized vendors and transporting vehicles to vendors as needed.

+ Knowledge of property management principles and practices;
+ Ability to utilize problem solving techniques;
+ Ability to supervise people;
+ Ability to prioritize workload;
+ Ability to develop various reports;
+ Ability to direct record keeping activities;
+ Ability to assign property numbers and tags;
+ Ability to move, transport and/or deliver property;
+ Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; and
+ Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.

BASE SALARY:
+ $ 41,200.00

BACKGROUND:
FDLE requires an extensive background process of all recommended applicants. This information will be utilized to make the final hiring decision.
NOTES:
Preference will be given to current FDLE members who have satisfactorily completed at least six months of the probationary period for their current position.
