Job Description/Requirements.
The Instructional Design Analyst is responsible for conducting analysis to identify new development needs and recommending training methods accordingly to successfully meet the learning needs within the organization. Designs full training programs, including instructor-led training, eLearning courses, on-the-job resources, and assessments. Being an Instructional Design Analyst requires ownership of complex development projects as well as the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
What You'll Do
+ Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to gather information, develop specific lesson/module content, and develop realistic scenarios that support achievement of learning objectives.
+ Use innovative learning methodologies in curriculum design and development through the application of your knowledge of current standards and best practices.
+ Effectively plan for and measure content effectiveness, as well as identify continuous improvement opportunities and lessons learned.
+ Openly share best practices and expertise with team members.
+ Collaborate with Training Director to meet deadlines, maintain schedules, identify and communicate risks early in the project and help to ensure the project stays within scope.
+ Design and develop materials for participants and facilitators, including student outlines, handouts, facilitator guides, performance exercises, evaluations, activities, job aids and all other required materials for ILT training solutions.
+ Design and develop storyboards, audio scripts, graphics concepts and simulation documentation to create eLearning training solutions.
+ Adhere to strict quality standards and specifications to ensure consistency and the highest quality deliverables.
+ Participate in QA reviews for training deliverables using agreed upon standards and provide constructive feedback to the developer to improve the quality of the team's output.
+ Support training coordination activities including reporting, scheduling, logistics, and communication with the organization.
+ Performs other duties as assigned based on business needs
What We're Looking For
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in instructional design, educational technology, or related field
+ Minimum of 4 - 6 years of experience in the design, development, and implementation of training solutions.
+ Possesses excellent grammar and writing proficiency; confident communicating with all levels of leadership.
+ Demonstrated experience applying instructional design principles and adult learning theories/models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) to develop training materials.
+ Demonstrated success developing multiple training projects simultaneously.
+ Expertise executing the entire ADDIE process (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) for curriculum creation, development and updates.
+ Expertise with Authoring software (Articulate Storyline), Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premier etc.) and experience with LMS administration a plus.
+ Exceptional presentation, communication (both verbal and written), facilitation and consensus-building skills.
+ Comprehensive expertise in developing training for a variety of delivery methods including instructor-led training (ILT) and web-based training (WBT), and also evaluating existing training to measure its effectiveness.
Work Environment
The position is based in an office environment, requiring periods of sitting and the operation of standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and other office tools. Work hours are typically 8-5, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend hours as needed.
