The opportunity
This position is responsible for the evaluation of market conditions, identification of issues and opportunities within the therapeutic category to develop campaigns targeting Health Care Providers (HCPs) with Non-Personal Promotion (NPP) and aligned with the overarching UZEDY brand strategies and objectives. The Associate Director, Marketing – HCP UZEDY Non-Personal Promotion reports to the Director, Marketing – HCP Promotion UZEDY and works with internal Teva colleagues, field sales colleagues and agency partners to develop HCP NPP content. Developing and executing a site-of-care strategy (i.e. Hospital) for UZEDY is of particular importance for this role, as is collaboration with the Value and Access team to create compelling payer-focused marketing strategies.
How you’ll spend your day
+ Lead and execute segments of brand promotion on HCP non-personal tactics to drive brand performance.
+ Plan and conduct market research, analyze market data, and translate insights into HCP non-personal materials.
+ Develop and implement the promotional approach, materials, and messaging for the UZEDY field sales force for use in various settings of care including hospitals, and long-term mental health facilities.
+ Work in close partnership with the Value and Access team to create payer-focused marketing strategies.
+ Deliver impactful hospital promotion and operations programs, including HIFT/samples across the portfolio.
+ Act as brand planning lead across the portfolio.
+ Partner with Teva colleagues in the field on the usage and evolution of approved HCP NPP UZEDY marketing materials.
+ Track promotional budget and ensure resources are being allocated according to brand strategic priorities.
+ Act as the HCP NPP brand voice in the development and execution of field meetings (e.g., NFM, POA).
+ Liaise with sales training to ensure HCP NPP field sales training materials and approach reflect overall brand strategy.
+ Plan and develop tactics aligned with predefined strategies and establishes timelines and budgets.
+ Works with agency partners to create, develop and implement tactical plans and provides input on strategy and direction of the brand, including Corporate Communications.
+ Manage the promotional approval process of HCP materials through collaboration with Medical, Legal, and Regulatory partners.
+ Analyzes market data and information and makes informed decisions.
+ Align organizationally and individually with internal and external codes of conduct.
Your experience and qualifications
Education/Certification/Experience:
+ Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
+ A minumum of 5 years of pharmaceutical experience
+ A minumum of 2 years of pharmaceutical marketing experience or equivalent with experience in Schizophrenia or other psychiatry markets (e.g., bipolar, major depressive disorder) preferred
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
+ Strong pharmaceutical industry and therapeutic area business acumen.
+ Able to draw insights from variety of sources, understands market and competition. Compiles relevant data from appropriate sources and performs analysis for the department. Synthesizes complex and diverse information, recognizes trends and/or interrelationship.
+ Ability to meet objectives and deadlines, promote efficiency and effectiveness, and incorporate improvements and program return on investment (ROI).
+ Project management experience and the ability to manage and coordinated projects with multiple internal stakeholders and vendors.
+ Excellent verbal, written, organization and interpersonal skills required.
+ Versed in MS Office tools including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
Travel Requirements:
Approximately 30% domestic travel throughout the US.
Compensation Data
The annual starting salary for this position is between $142,000 – $185,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting salary within this range and level of role may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
