Knowledge Requirements:

+ Experience with various model-based system-engineering tools - Cameo Systems Modeler, Magic Draw, Enterprise Architect

+ Knowledge of IT, computer system infrastructure, data communication and network systems, TCP/IP, OSI model, and routing protocols

+ Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Administration or other related scientific or technical discipline; OMG-Certified SysML Professional (OCSMP) certification (Desired but not required)

Years of Industry Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience

Security Clearance Requirement: Must have an Active DoD Secret Clearance

Let's talk salary. The annual salary range for this position is $85,000 and goes up to $110,000, based on your qualifications. We also offer a competitive benefits package and have fringe benefits offered throughout the year. The benefits package value ranges from $13,000 for a single employee, and up to $28,000 for an employee and their family. With company standard annual performance reviews in place, plus excellence awards for recognition, your performance will be rewarded and appreciated, we promise!

Still not convinced? Allow us to elaborate. For this opportunity, we are seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented Model Based Systems Engineer. This exciting position will have the chance to work on just about any aspect there is as it pertains to systems engineering. To be successful in this role, you should be able to communicate clearly with stakeholders and engineering leadership teams to ensure requirements are clearly defined and customer expectations are met. The ability to analyze new and complex program-related problems and create innovative solutions that integrate schedule, technology, methodology, tools, and financial aspects are critical components to this position.

What does this mean to you? We’re looking for engineering experts to lead our teams as we take on tough problems and build complex, highly sophisticated systems. Our ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science Degree in engineering, computer science, or related studies plus three (3) years or more of industry experience (DoD military systems, C4I, Surface-, Undersea-, Air-, and Mine-warfare on military programs, etc.) Our desired candidate will be skilled in operational analysis and use case definition, plus requirements management and analysis.

Lastly, as we are working for the DoD, we are beholden to some requirements. The ideal candidate would already possess an active DoD Secret level clearance and Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Administration or other related scientific or technical discipline
