The Department of Art at Rowan University is seeking qualified adjuncts to teach undergraduate courses in Studio Art, Drawing, Painting, 2 and 3-d Design, Graphic Design and Digital Media, Ceramics, Sculpture, Jewelry/Metals, Photography and Art History. Courses will be taught on the main campus in Glassboro, New Jersey.
Salary/Benefits:
+ In compliance with The State of New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, and in accordance with the current MOA, Rowan University adjuncts are provided with $1975 per credit for all courses taught, with a maximum teaching load of 8 credits per semester and 12 credits in an academic year. Courses will be assigned to instructors by College & Department on an as-needed basis. Adjunct Faculty who have taught 12 or more semesters at the individual College/University will receive an additional $75 per credit. A semester is defined as Fall or Spring.

(Tuition reimbursement will apply to undergraduate degrees only for spouse and dependents).

Qualified candidates must have a Master’s degree in a related field and relevant professional or academic experience. A track record of successful teaching is desirable.
