Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the LOGISTICS DIRECTORATE of NAVMEDREADLOGCMD. Responsibilities You will assign work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees. You will evaluate employee work performance and conduct mid-year reviews. You will conduct audit preparations/ performance training for staff to drive process changes. You will evaluate the efficiently if the Inventory management/ supply programs. You will be responsible for inventory management, providing customer service, supply, and acquisitions processes and procedures. You will plan and determine current and future supply requirements to meet customer needs. You will prepare recommendations and directives for material procurements indicating item types, quantities, and sources. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Understanding of inventory management, supply chain operations, and material handling procedures; 2) Training and supervising staff, analyzing complex problems, and developing and implementing process improvements; 3) Utilizing warehouse management systems and business logistics applications; and 4) Operating material handling equipment with knowledge of safety and security protocols.
