    We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Security Architect to lead the design, assessment, development, implementation, and optimization of security technologies within cloud environments supporting DoD operations. This role requires deep expertise in cloud security, enterprise architecture, identity and access management (IAM), cryptography, and automation while ensuring compliance with mission-critical cybersecurity frameworks.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Architect and implement secure cloud solutions to protect defense applications and infrastructure.

    + Conduct assessments, development, implementation, and optimization of security technologies across cloud platforms.

    + Develop and enforce secure software development practices, ensuring application security, data protection, cryptography, and key management.

    + Design secure authentication mechanisms following industry standards for cloud-native environments.

    + Lead efforts in deployment orchestration, automation, and security configuration management.

    + Implement service-oriented architectures (SOA) for cloud-based solutions.

    + Evaluate and integrate cloud security and governance tools, CASBs, and server virtualization technologies into defense environments.

    + Support enterprise applications, including architecture, development, troubleshooting, and compliance auditing.

    + Perform threat modeling and design reviews to assess security implications of new technologies.

    + Represent technical viewpoints to diverse audiences and support timely and prudent technical risk decisions.

    + Collaborate within cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless security integration into DoD infrastructure.

    + Produce technical documentation outlining security standards, risks, and best practices.

    Required Qualifications:

    + Active Secret Clearance: TS preferred.

    + Education:

    + Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field OR equivalent work experience.

    + Experience:

    + 10+ years in Security Architecture and/or Engineering.

    + 5+ years working with cloud platforms.

    + Certifications:

    + Professional-level certification in cloud security, cybersecurity, or DoD-approved credentials OR equivalent notable work experience.

    + Technical Expertise:

    + Strong knowledge of cloud security, IAM, network security, cryptography, and secure software development.

    + Experience implementing cloud security frameworks, threat modeling, and incident response strategies.

    + Familiarity with zero-trust architectures, DevSecOps methodologies, and compliance with DoD RMF.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience with classified defense systems and DoD IT security policies.

    + Knowledge of AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, and other secure cloud platforms.

    + Expertise in CI/CD pipeline security, automated deployment tools, and cloud-native security solutions.

    + Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Security+, CCSP, or DoD-approved cybersecurity credentials.
