    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Senior Tax Analyst will be part of the global tax team located in Denver, Colorado and will report to the Director of Global Tax. This position will support federal and state compliance and provision, ensuring return workpapers and forms are prepared timely, calculating tax payments, and preparing provision workpapers.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Prepare federal pro-forma returns.

    + Prepare state apportionment and state taxable income workpapers.

    + Prepare and file state returns.

    + Prepare federal and state estimates and make necessary payments.

    + Prepare some schedule Ms for provision.

    + Assist in preparing federal RTP, and prepare state RTP.

    + Respond to state notices.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    + Location: Denver, CO

    + Environment: Standard, in person first office environment

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    + Strong motivation, autonomous and a highly driven individual

    + Strong interpersonal skills, able to work well with a team and collaborate with other departments

    + Proficient verbal and written communication skills

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with a commitment to reach goals and meet deadlines

    EXPERIENCE:

    Essential:

    + Minimum three years of public accounting and/or multinational corporate tax experience specializing in federal and state income tax.

    Desirable:

    + Experience with OneSource tax software, Oracle and/or SAP preferred

    EDUCATION:

    Essential:

    + Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Business

    Desirable:

    + CPA certification preferred

    COMPENSATION:

    _As required by multiple state pay transparency laws, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. The range of starting pay for this role is $100,000 to $120,000 per year._
