Job Summary
The Department of Pathology at Michigan Medicine is seeking a qualified candidate for a clinical assistant/clinical associate/clinical professor position. This individual will work with the Division Director and other divisional leadership to identify areas of need, including informatic and bioinformatic support of legacy assays, informatic and bioinformatic development for new assay validation projects, development of a comprehensive divisional database, and development of an all-encompassing divisional informatics ecosystem. This individual will oversee a team of the app;ication programmers, database developers, and bioinformaticians, helping to assign a prioritized list of tasks in support of the continuous operations of the division. Academic opportunities abound to utilize the acquired genomic data and metadata in translational research as well as academic publishing of development processes.

Required Qualifications*
The applicant should have a PhD in Computer Science or related field with at least 5-10 years of leadership experience in a business/professional environment with a demonstrable portfolio of prior completed projects, including familiarity with project management and software development tools. Excellent communication skills are required.
