ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
As a System Administrator / Database Administrator, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with a talented team of professionals at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, OH. This role is critical in ensuring effective system administration and database administration for our client. Join us and be part of our mission to make a difference!
SOME RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
+ Administering, maintaining, developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of AFRL/RQ systems, servers, and databases.
+ Installing new software releases, system upgrades, evaluating and installing patches and resolving software-related problems.
+ Implement data models and database designs, data access and table maintenance codes; resolve database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues including assistance in resolving backup issues.
+ System and database administration will be accomplished primarily on servers supporting the application development function.
+ Learn and understand how the RQ-developed and commercial applications interact with the operating system and database to ensure proper integration, and to ensure upgrades and patching of the O/S and software applications are accomplished in a way to avoid or minimize disruption to application function and operation.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Bachelor’s degree in area of specialty and 8+ years of experience in the field or in a related area or equivalent, or 10+ years of experience in the field or in a related area or equivalent in lieu of bachelor’s degree.
+ Windows IIS (Configure, Performance Tune, Perform Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), Install Patches)
+ ColdFusion 2023+ (Install, Configure, Performance Tune, Perform Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), Install Patches)
+ SQL Server (Install, Configure, Performance Tune, Perform Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), Install Patches, Create databases/tablespaces/tables/users)
+ BA Insight server operation
+ Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within software development and database administration.
+ Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals in a development and production environment.
+ A high degree of creativity and latitude is required.
+ CompTIA Security+ certification.
+ Adhere to security standards regarding Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) data, Personal Identifiable Information (PII) data, as well as DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) as software/databases are developed and deployed.
+ Candidates must be U.S. Citizens and have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher.

Compensation / Salary Range: Greentree adheres to federal, state, and local regulations. This is a Full-Time, Salary, Exempt position. The salary range is what we reasonably expect to pay but is contingent and subject to a variety of factors, including but not limited to years of experience, education, certification(s), training, specialized skills, responsibilities, etc.
Bonuses: Greentree has an employee referral bonus, as well as employee bonuses based on employee contributions and Greentree’s yearly performance.
