This position supports the Caterpillar Oil & Gas and Marine Division’s (COGMD) Services & Aftermarket Growth team. This role will provide financial analysis and business support for investments made by COGMD to drive profitable growth. Emphasis will be placed on Caterpillar’s Operating & Execution (O&E) Model to drive decision-making that enhances enterprise value and performance, while positioning the division and Caterpillar for long-term success. The best candidate will have the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams, strong problem-solving skills, effective communication and a customer-oriented mindset.

What You Will Do:

+ Developing rigorous, fact based, quantitative analysis to support recommendations, ensuring strategic and financial soundness and alignment for any recommendations.

+ Providing support in the development of integrated aftermarket value propositions, including analysis of competitive strategies and offerings, market economics and competitive positioning.

+ Structuring and solving business problems, collaborating and coordinating with a range of internal stakeholders to make recommendations on a wide range of growth opportunities.

+ Working closely with the Finance Director and cross-functional teams on strategic projects, bringing timely and useful insight, perspective and analytical support.

+ Understanding customer business models and requirements

What You Have:

+ **Accuracy and Attention to Detail:** Understand the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high level of precision.

+ **Analytical Thinking:** Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.

+ **Effective Communication:** Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

+ **Financial Planning & Analysis:** Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.

+ **Managing Multiple Priorities:** Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.

Top Candidates Will Have:

+ Accounting or Finance degree

+ Financial Reporting & Analysis experience

+ This position will be located in Houston, TX

+ This role is a full time, in office position and requires 5 days a week in office

+ Domestic relocation assistance is available for those who qualify

+ International and Domestic travel up to 5%

Summary Pay Range:

$110,520.00 - $165,840.00
