Looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team at our Corporate Headquarters in Irving, Texas. The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in managing the post-sale credit accrual process, collaborating with the pricing team, and ensuring robust internal controls and procedures are maintained.
What You Will Do:
+ Calculate and manage the post-sale credit accrual process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards.
+ Work closely with the pricing and technical accounting teams to understand current and future pricing strategies.
+ Collaborate on post-sale credit programs to ensure alignment with business objectives.
+ Conduct detailed balance sheet analysis, including coordination with legal entities globally.
+ Provide insights and recommendations based on thorough financial analysis.
+ Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
+ Serve as the Internal Control Coordinator for the team.
What You Have:
+ **Education:** Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
+ **Accuracy and Attention to Detail:** Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision
+ **Analytical Thinking:** Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems
+ **Decision Making and Critical Thinking:** Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
+ **Effective Communications:** Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors
+ **Managing Multiple Priorities:** Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation
+ **Accounting:** Knowledge of accounting methods, processes, and tools; ability to maintain and prepare financial statements and reports using accounting methods and processes.
+ **Financial Analysis:** Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.
+ **Financial Reporting** : Knowledge of processes, methods, and tools of financial reporting; ability to create and maintain accurate and thorough financial reports
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
+ CPA or CMA
+ Prior experience in Public Accounting (Big 4 a significant plus) and/or , experience within a large, multinational corporation.
+ Experience with Access/SQL, PowerBI, Snowflake or other reporting tools.

+ This position will be located in our Irving, TX office
+ This role is a full time, in office position and requires 5 days a week in office
+ Domestic relocation assistance is available for those who qualify

Summary Pay Range:
$110,520.00 - $165,840.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
