_Summary:_

+ The inspector for the Incoming Inspection Department will be responsible for overseeing the quality of incoming material. They will also ensure that Incoming Inspection is working efficiently and effectively to Quality and Manufacturing standards, ensuring high quality product arrives to production in a timely manner. Incoming Inspector will report to the Quality Engineering Manager.

_Schedule:_

Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm

_Duties and Responsibilities:_

+ Prioritize day-to-day activities to ensure timely processing of material.

+ Perform inspections by utilizing various types of measuring equipment.

+ Insures proper processing of conforming and non-conforming material

+ Preforms inspections per Industry Standards including but not limited to IPC, IEEE and American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

+ Follows all component handling procedures.

+ Other duties as assigned

_Minimum Qualifications_ _:_ (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

+ Experience with mechanical measurement equipment is a must.

+ High School graduate, or general education degree required

+ Understanding of Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) as defined in ISO 2859-1

+ Possess basic math skills, and ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and tolerances.

_Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:_

+ Ability to work unsupervised.

+ Ability to respond positively to feedback.

+ Ability to implement changes in processes and procedures as needed.

+ Ability to choose the correct measuring equipment as it relates to tolerances on drawings and specifications.

+ Ability to read and understand Assembly Drawings and Data Sheets.

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

+ Requires daily face-to-face interaction with other employees.

+ Employee is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

+ Employee is regularly required to see, observe and verify small handwriting, text, and components.

+ Employee is expected to be aware of their surroundings when moving throughout the facility.

+ Employee is expected to wear designated PPE as applicable, such as safety glasses, steel toed shoes, and lab coats.

+ The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled warehouse environment. Occasional exposure to cold and/or hot conditions while the loading dock doors are open should be expected. Noises common to a warehouse environment (forklift, garage door usage, etc. should be expected.

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The salary rate for this role is 26.50/hr.

The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location.
