Bindery Machine Operator – Full-Time | Rochester, NY

We’re seeking a skilled **Bindery Machine Operator** for a full-time position in a fast-paced print production facility. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, prior experience operating casing-in machines or bindery equipment, and a desire to work in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

**Pay:** $18–$21/hr, based on experience

Shifts Available:

+ **A Shift:** 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday–Friday

+ **B Shift:** 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Sunday–Thursday

Must be flexible to work mandatory overtime during peak seasons

Full-time schedule with overtime available

Must be flexible to work additional hours during peak production times, including weekends when needed

Job Duties:

+ Set up and operate bindery and casing-in equipment such as Kolbus DA-260 and GP2 SC2

+ Follow production schedules to meet daily output goals

+ Perform quality checks and ensure finished products meet customer standards

+ Maintain equipment, perform basic repairs, and report issues promptly

+ Keep work area clean, organized, and running efficiently

+ Assist team members and help train new operators as needed

+ Cross-train on additional bindery or production equipment

Qualifications:

+ Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or machine operator role (bindery/print environment preferred)

+ Strong mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot or adjust equipment

+ Comfortable working in a high-speed production setting

+ Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods

+ Good communication, teamwork, and time management skills

+ Basic computer literacy and ability to follow written instructions
