Spurwink is seeking an experienced and engaged professional with a diverse technical skillset to join our growing IT Applications team as a Senior Programmer/Analyst. The ideal candidate will have a strong background or interest in project management, data engineering, and business intelligence analytics. This individual will partner with agency stakeholders to enhance our enterprise applications by designing and implementing custom data integrations and reporting solutions.

DUTIES:

+ Work with various business areas (including but not limited to Finance, Human Resource, Senior Leadership and Clinical Departments) to gather requirements, design, and develop front-end solutions that improve business processes and front-end Business Intelligence reporting.

+ Complete necessary research, development, testing and training materials for new/existing software, new modules for existing software and/or reports across the agency.

+ Assist with the daily maintenance of Spurwink's information systems, including but not limited to monitoring systems, interfaces, new user setups and upgrade testing.

+ Understand the complexities affecting the reliability and validity of data in Spurwink's information systems. Use that data to design and develop advanced reports to meet a variety of agency needs, determine accuracy, and independently troubleshoot data problems.

+ Serve as either primary or backup support to Spurwink staff needing assistance with various technical issues and requests which may include (but not limited to) information system errors, software enhancements, report validation and data analysis for organizational purposes

+ Run regularly scheduled reports and ad hoc reports as directed. Review to determine accuracy of data and try to troubleshoot data problems.

+ Build IT support/training materials and provide end user training accordingly. Cross train team members in new software.

+ Prioritize service delivery and user satisfaction.

+ Act as primary or backup DBA responsible for setting up SQL servers, interfaces, system and account maintenance. Minimal travel to client sites, attend and/or present at User Groups and other meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree in related field of study or commensurate work experience.

Minimum Experience Requirements: This position will serve as a Senior Programmer/Analyst working with Spurwink information systems to assist with ongoing implementation and support of software and reporting applications. Potential candidates must have:

+ 5+ years working with SQL Server or similar relational databases; including 2+ years of SQL Database Administration experience.

+ 5+ years designing and automating process flows using Power Automate, PowerShell, Python, R, or similar tools.

+ 5+ years leveraging APIs to build custom data integrations 5+ years designing Business Intelligence Analytics solutions using Power BI, Sisense, Qlik, Tableau, Python, R, or similar tools.

+ 5+ years of experience testing and upgrading enterprise applications across a variety of platforms and databases (SQL, Windows, Cloud Hosted, etc.)

+ 5+ years developing business specifications, analyzing software and providing recommendations to senior leadership for a variety of business areas.

+ Experience working in a healthcare environment (medical or mental health).

+ Experience with data and/or systems conversion and knowledge. Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.

+ Versatility is required; applicants will need to independently manage multiple tasks simultaneously and be able to pivot quickly to a new task if necessary.

+ Project Management and leadership skills are essential to manage and prioritize tasks that align with the IT Strategic Plan, coordinate/conduct analysis meetings, document findings, and build/execute implementation plans.
