• Machine Maint-Grp 2-3rd Shift

    Deluxe (Townsend, MA)


    Responsible for Maximizing production up time and high - quality products by ensuring machines and physical plant are operating at optimum levels.

     

    + Completes preventative maintenance requirements ( equipment, conveyor systems, production machines) ; performs minor repairs on HVAC, plumbing, and other aspects of the physical plant . Provides ongoing troubleshooting and repair of equ ipment. L ocates sources of problems by observing mechanical devised in operation, listening for problems, using precision measuring and testing instruments. Restores machine operations by diagnosing extent of repairs required , refitting, repairing, replacing parts, or making adjustments .

    + Trains production employees in routine preventative maintenance techniques.

     

    Basic Qualifications (BQs)

     

    Education and Experience: HS/GED and 2 years experience or Tech Cert. Experience in maintenance in a production environment.

     

    Knowledge of machine tools. Basic electrical and electronic repair knowledge.

     

    Preferred Qualifications (PQs)

     

    Education and Experience: Mechanical, electrical and computer certification preferred Ability to follow diagrams, schematics, manuals, instructions and engineering specifications.

     

    Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong verbal communication skills. Experience with troubleshooting electromechanical equipment.

    Additional Basic Qualifications:

    Must be 18 years of age or older
