Job Summary:
KBR is seeking a highly motivated Junior Program Analyst that is a self-starter and can demonstrate critical thinking as well as initiative to support PMA-265 Software Configuration Set (SCS) Integrated Product Team (IPT). The candidate will be part of a team of highly driven and skilled professionals engaged in support of program management, technical, and business case analysis across the NAVAIR community.
Program Summary:
The F/A-18 and EA-18G Program Office (PMA-265) provides critical current and future capabilities in the form of total life cycle support management (cradle to grave) for the F/A-18A-D Hornet, F/A-18E/F Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler weapons systems.
PMA-265 is responsible for acquiring, delivering and sustaining the F/A-18 and EA-18G aircraft, ensuring mission success for U.S. Navy and Marine Corps aviators, as well as international partners to include Australia, Canada, Finland, Kuwait, Malaysia, Spain and Switzerland.
Role and Responsibilities:
+ Supports a team that develops and delivers emerging technologies in support of a major aircraft weapon system.
+ Provides program, budget and schedule status updates; perform technical, business case analysis; participate as a member of and/or support the Software Configuration Set (SCS) Integrated Product Team’s (IPT) and IPT-directed business meetings.
+ Collects, organize and interpret technical data and financial information related to aircraft system acquisition and product programs.
+ Monitors, track and report performance against established program plans, ensuring that contractual cost and schedule objectives are met.
+ Interprets and applies policies and procedures for financial planning.
+ Supports customer tag-ups, working groups and various milestone events.
+ Develop program documentation, meeting minutes, and action tracking spreadsheets based on data collection using Microsoft products (Word, Project, PowerPoint and Excel).
+ Participates in Risk Management and CDRL management activities/meetings.
+ Utilize scheduling tools; Provides insight and oversight of program progress with emphasis on critical path activities and impacts to deployment of developed software capabilities.
+ You will be mentored on skills needed for growth in a fast-paced program support career field.
Basic Qualifications:
+ Must have an AAS degree pus at least 3-5 years of experience in a related field OR an additional 3 years of experience for a total of 6 years of experience in a business, educational or technical position can be substituted for the AS degree requirement.
+ Must have at least 3 years of experience in a business, educational or technical position.
+ Familiarity with budget management, scheduling, research and analysis is required.
+ Must be ablet to travel as required by contract; Position requires up to 15% of travel.
+ Must have an active secret level security clearance.
Preferred Skills:
+ A bachelor's degree is preferred.
+ Computer skills: Microsoft office Suite, and capability to learn, use and understand this position’s required computer applications.
+ Experience presenting data.
Scheduled Weekly Hours:
+ 40 hours/week
Compensation:
+ $83,930 - $125,840
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s location, knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience, contract affordability, and in consideration of internal parity.
