Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

oPerform a variety of tasks that will include having to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods of time, stretch, walk, climb, and bend under potentially adverse field conditions and be able to perform visual tasks such as back up spotting and be able to hear and react to back up alarms, per safety protocols.

oFollowing safety rules, regulations and procedures is mandatory

oPerform tasks involving physical labor at heavy construction projects

oPerform selected demolition and removal of concrete and asphalt materials, fixtures, and other construction debris using mechanical and non-mechanical methods

oDump, spread, and tamp asphalt to repair joints and patch broken pavement

oPerform roadside landscaping work such as clearing weeds and brush

oShovel, pour ad spread asphalt, concrete and other materials

oMaintain a clean job site: pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day to eliminate potential hazards.

oLubricate, clean and possibly repair machinery, equipment and tools

oPerform material handling and storage

oLoad and unload trucks and haul and hoist materials

oThe candidate must be willing to work long hours when required, some weekends and possible night work

oBe flexible and able to take and follow orders in an independent or group setting

oHave the ability to work in extreme weather conditions

Required Qualifications:

oHigh school diploma or GED preferred

oMust pass a pre-hire drug screen (Drug Free Employer)

oMust have a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to report to work on time

oCurrent OSHA 10 card holders preferred

oMust be willing to travel to various job sites

oAbility to orally communicate with all workers and representatives on job site

Compensation:

Competitive wage commensurate with experience. Excellent benefit package including company paid health, dental and vision insurance with a company-funded retirement plan.

Salary Range $30,400 - $77,500

Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as related work experience, market conditions, education/training, certifications and other credentials, overtime when applicable, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
