Your Responsibilities

As a **Part-Time Student - Product Engineer** for **John Deere ISG** working remotely, you will….

+ Collaborate with computer vision, robotics, and machine learning project teams to deliver simulations to aid in algorithm development and testing.

+ Work on Unreal Gaming Engine simulations, Matlab Simulink/Simscape simulations, and python code to develop new simulations to support teams.

+ Collaborate on automated workflows to standardize our simulation pipeline using Git, Jenkins, AWS, and Azure Dev Ops.

+ Responsible for communicating and maintaining good documentation.

What Skills You Need

+ Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in a STEM field: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, others may apply.

+ Must be registered as a full-time student at an accredited college/university.

+ Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above.

+ Available to work during the academic year 16-20 hours/weekly.

+ Available to work during the summer semester 35-40 hours/weekly.

+ Independent learner and problem solver.

+ Programming skills and experience with data analysis.

+ High School Graduate

+ Currently pursuing a STEM degree at an accredited college/university

What Makes You Stand Out

+ Experience using Matlab Simulink, Simscape, or Unreal Gaming Engine.

+ Programming skills in Python or C++.

+ Experience with robotics or CVML development or testing.

+ Experience working in an Agile environment.

+ Strong people, relationship-building, and communication skills. Ability to develop productive working relationships with a wide variety of teams and leaders

+ Able to commute to the work location in Urbandale, Iowa (depending on school location) occasionally for face to face team meetings.
