Position Summary:
The Pharmacy Technician will primarily support scheduling of infusion patients' clinic in Muskegon, MI. This role will be managing incoming patient calls and scheduling them for appropriate times and educating patients on what to expect at the infusion clinic. This role will also coordinate with provider offices regarding orders as well as RNs, RPhs, and MAs within the clinic.
What the Pharmacy Technician will Need:
+ High school education or equivalent. Completion of ASHP/ACPE pharmacy technician training program
+ Preferred, completion of a formal Pharmacy Technician certification program; or two years of college with emphasis in math, science, or medical field applications
+ Active Michigan Pharmacy Technician Licensure (Full license) AND Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) National Certification
+ Two years of pharmacy work experience..
