    + **On Call:** No **Responsibilities:** The Lab Medical Assistant II is responsible for:

    + Collecting, receiving and processing of inpatient and outpatient specimens for testing

    + Communications with nursing regarding patient specimens

    + Referring specimens to outside laboratories

    + Interaction with physicians, clients and staff regarding referral lab tests

    + Performance of phlebotomy procedures

    + Performs other duties as assigned **Experience:**

    + Required 6 months Phlebotomy, Laboratory related; or related field **Education:**

    + Required High School or equivalent

    + Or Bachelors related field in lieu of experience **Credentials:**

    + Driver's License **Credential equivalent experience:**
