**Schedule:** 1s Shift 6:00am to 4:30pm, Monday - Friday, with rotating for Saturday work based on production schedule.

**Work Location:** 1325 Chase Ave, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007

**Salary, based on experience and other qualifications:** 1st Shift: $19.75 per hour.

Position Scope/Summary

Facilitate the production of high-quality products at minimum costs consistent with efficient plant operations. Make recommendations to improve plant operations and work as a team with the Production Supervisor and Utility Lead.

Key Result Accountabilities

Adheres to company safety, cross training and follows Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) in all areas of responsibility. Follows established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) Access and understand some computer programs (printing pallet labels and product labels, etc.) Create a safe and productive work environment for all employees. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong relationships with all line associates and departments. Knowledge of all packaging equipment for assigned area. Positive Mental Attitude. Demonstrates ability to effectively communicate with associates Has a positive approach to challenge solving. Must be able to understand and follow verbal instructions from supervisor or lead. Stacking cases, bottle feeder, pull labels for production runs, manual labeling, weighing of product colors, manual packaging and other utility duties as assigned (sweeping, organizing, wiping, moping, washing, dusting, scrubbing, sanitizing, repack operations, etc.) Must be able to stand for several hours at a time. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.

Environmental Working Conditions

Employee must comply with all safety policies and safe work procedures established by the company. Job tasks may also involve:

Using personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, goggles, gloves, and other equipment as established in company policies and safe work procedures. Compliant with the uniform policy.

Lifting up to 50 pounds, anything over should seek assistance.

Frequent carrying, bending, standing, sitting, and repetitive motion.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and power industrial trucks. The employee is frequently exposed to cold, wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Employee will be expected to attend safety training, serve on the facility safety committee and participate in hazard analysis and resolution.
