Job Description

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join a large Energy management team as Entry-Level Building Automation Systems Technicians. In this role, you will learn to understand project and service requirements, including specifications, standards, schedules, and safety protocols. You will participate in on-site activities related to the coordination, installation, and commissioning of building automation systems under the guidance of experienced professionals. The Pay rate for this role ranges from $29-$31/hr based on years of experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with commissioning and startup of new control systems to ensure proper operation.

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair control system wiring, hardware, and software.

Identify and resolve communication issues between control devices and system components.

Create, load, test, and tune system databases.

Install, replace, and recommission control system devices, equipment, and software.

Coordinate activities with subcontractors as needed.

Provide on-site training to customers when required.

Deliver emergency and warranty services as necessary.

Create and maintain test records and as-built documentation.

Adhere to project site safety and housekeeping standards.

Support basic field startup using standard startup and checkout procedures.

Assist senior technicians and project managers with field-directed changes and as-built markups.

Support project managers with material delivery, logistics, and LOT (List of Tools) management.

Utilize tools such as Design 360, Prometheus, and other applicable engineering applications.

Skills and Requirements

- 3+ years of experience of trade or relevant experience

- Experience commissioning job sites

- Experience in building automation industry

- Experience with Building automation tools like Honeywell - Experience with PLCs null
