• Sr. .NET Engineer

    Job Description

    Our major distribution client is in the middle of a digital transformation and is looking for a Sr. Engineer (.NET) to join their team. This position will be focused on hands on development as well as mentorship of junior team members as part of their EAPI team. This unique role requires deep expertise in our existing .NET infrastructure while strategically transitioning to a modern cloud-based solution in AWS. You should be skilled in building rest APIs and be familiar with microservice architectures, the domain service model, and cloud architectures. You will be responsible for building services and coordinating with the teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator, a team player, a self-starter, and demonstrate proactivity in a fast-paced environment.     Key Responsibilities

    Creating, maintaining, and updating C# .Net REST API solutions for the enterprise

     

    Writing Unit and E2E tests

     

    Documenting APIS (Swagger)

     

    Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks

     

    Working on a project/product team with other developers

     

    Identifying bottlenecks and defects and suggest workable solutions

     

    Pay rate range: 65-70/hour

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Bachelors degree

    5+ years of experience

    .NET/C# expertise

     

    Ability to write clean, well-documented code

     

    Microsoft Visual Studio

     

    Azure DevOps

    AWS experience

    Familiarity with Telemetry and Observability concepts

     

    Hands-on expertise in code versioning tools (e.g., Git) - Elastic Stack familiarity

     

    - Other programming language (Typescript, JavaScript, Python, Go, Rust, etc.) knowledge is a plus

    - Cloud migration experience null
