Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead new construction and facility buildout projects for healthcare and life sciences clients in the Atlanta area. This role requires a strong background in engineering, IT, and HVAC systems, with a focus on building automation and controls. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a deep understanding of the unique requirements of healthcare and life sciences environments. The compensation for this role is based on years of experience and ranges from $53-$57/hr.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all phases of construction projects from planning through completion.

Coordinate project execution in alignment with contract documents and approved estimates.

Manage project documentation including RFIs, meeting minutes, punch lists, submittals, change orders, and issue logs.

Forecast manpower and resource requirements; schedule and allocate resources accordingly.

Prepare and manage project billing, revenue forecasts, and schedules of values.

Review and approve estimates, change orders, and team submittals.

Ensure financial accountability and performance across all assigned projects.

Prepare subcontractor bid packages and negotiate subcontract agreements.

Maintain organized project documentation in compliance with quality standards.

Develop and update project schedules and cost estimates.

Deliver final project documentation and ensure timely client payments.

Serve as the primary point of contact for all client communications.

Skills and Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in a Project Management role.

At least 5 years of experience in the building automation or controls industry.

Proven experience managing construction projects in healthcare and life sciences sectors.

Strong background in engineering, IT systems, and HVAC management.

Advanced knowledge of HVAC control systems and ability to interpret control system schematics.

Familiarity with contract law, construction codes, and industry standards.

Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and delegate effectively. - Experience with PLCs, SCADA Systems null
