Job Description

Our client is looking for a senior level Java Engineer to join their development team in Berkley Heights, NJ. The responsibilities include working in research projects to adopt new technologies, adapting the clients current framework to support new business requirements, collaborating with application teams to troubleshoot complex development problems, collaborating with architects and business analysts on the design of new solutions, collaborating with operations in the resolution of production incidents, and evangelizing application teams on the adoption of best practices and tools. This engineer will spend a majority of the time on new development. It is required to be onsite at the office five days a week and the hourly pay range is 70-80/hr.

Skills and Requirements

10+ years of experience as a software engineer

Expertise in core Java and developing through v.8 and above

Experience defining and building microservices architecture

Kafka

OpenShift

Kubernetes

Springboot Financial industry experience null
