    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a Systems Admin to join one of their top financial clients in the McLean area (on site five days a week). This individual will be joining the Public division of Global Banking Markets technology, specifically the RIA Engineering group and one of their advisory/brokerage platforms. We are seeking a Systems Admin to join the team, focused on both daily operations, maintenance and project based work. This person will be responsible for daily operations of the Enterprise Data Center (EDC) and Secondary Data Center (SDC) virtual infrastructure environment that includes heavy Linux, VMware, RedHat & Hyper-V products. We are seeking someone strong in Linux, who can provide support to tickets stemming from development, the business, or other teams across the enterprise. Additionally, scripting and automation skills will be needed for ad hoc technical projects.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    -3+ years experience within System Administration

     

    -Strong Linux experience

     

    -Proficient with both RedHat and VMWare

     

    -Scripting experience (Shell or Perl preferred) -Experience troubleshooting a Windows environment

    -SQL experience

    -Third party application support null
