Job Summary and Qualifications

Seeking a Director of Facility Operations for South Texas Radiology Center – BMCAH who is Responsible for the planning, organizing, directing and controlling of the administrative, financial and operational activities of their assigned facilities. Will hire, train, and direct the activities of all clinical employees within their facilities to ensure the delivery of the highest level of customer service to the patient and assigned physicians. Must operate the facility in accordance with the financial and operational philosophies of STRIC while insuring compliance with the various inspecting entities. What You Will Do In Your Role:

+ The director will submit a plan and a final report of operational and financial activities of assigned facilities on a monthly basis. Must perform / initiate duties and meet deadlines in a timely manner.

+ Is responsible for maintaining accurate records for the facility and always conducts himself/herself in an ethical and professional manner. Must utilize productivity tools to ensure productivity levels and maintains facility budget.

+ Communicates appropriately with Radiologist and completes any duties assigned by the Senior Administrative team.

+ Investigates patient complaints and resolves those issues to the patients’ satisfaction through superior customer service and soft communication skills (empathy and listening for service recovery opportunities).

+ Evaluates performance of employees and takes appropriate personnel action when necessary.

+ Motivates employees to achieve peak productivity and performance by providing clear direction and expectations.

+ Maintains office equipment inventory and equipment preventive maintenance and service records. Works with vendors to ensure optimum uptime of equipment in assigned facilities.

What qualifications you will need:

+ High School Graduate/GED

+ 5 years of supervisory or management experience, preferably in out-patient radiology or hospital radiology.

Employee completes initial and ongoing training and competencies as defined by facility and department/unit which are specific to the needs of the patient population served (if applicable).

Preferred:

+ Bachelors Degree or graduate of an Accredited Radiology Technology Program.
