Job Summary and Qualifications

The Oncology Consulting Product Analyst is focused on providing subject matter expertise on the MEDITECH Expanse EMR product, including its functionality and utilization, while collaborating with project teams and business partners to meet ITG project objectives. This position will contribute to other analysts and technical teams to ensure successful delivery of the MEDITECH Expanse Oncology (ONC) initiatives according to the HCA/Sarah Cannon program objectives. Delivery of MEDITECH Expanse to support the Medical Oncology service line will be the first integrated, enterprise EMR platform, solving a critical need, addressing patient safety concerns.

The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to establish effective working relationships and manage multiple priorities. This includes discussions and collaborating with other project team members to design functional product details and changes, identify and escalate project issues, and ultimately ensure product requirements are met.

The candidate will provide hands-on expertise to independently resolve service delivery or functionality issues with the EMR product, frequently communicating with project team members, support resources, other supporting external vendors, and end users. This position requires a strong working knowledge of clinical workflows and operational procedures.

The ideal candidate for this position has a clinical product support, integration, implementation background with well-developed communication skills. **MEDITECH** **Expanse** experience is **required** .

Major Responsibilities

+ Oversee new software coordination per the deployment schedule and assist with implementation strategies to support the Sarah Cannon Medical Oncology service line.

+ Support the development of implementation plans, operational support models, and methodologies to support an enterprise rollout of the MEDITECH Expanse product in our ONC departments.

+ Identify impact and/or product gaps to other solutions or projects, and work with other analysts and stakeholders to assess options and submit recommendations along with leading enhancement efforts. Work closely with other programs to ensure software usage optimization.

+ Work with all departments throughout the product delivery cycle to ensure project dates are met and ensure timely completion of Product Analyst deliverables.

+ Create a joint vision for IT and ONC by maintaining strong relationships with business unit and strategic partners, and assists in preparing and presenting the value proposition or business case.

+ Design and implement reports, maps/flowcharts (current and future state), and screen layouts to improve business processes and workflow. Perform detailed analysis and evaluations on current state and document conclusions and recommendations.

+ Provide coordination and clarification to project resources, expertise in process design, and leadership in communicating requirements in support of product development, testing, and training/education.

+ Elicit and document business, user, functional, and non-functional requirements. Create deliverables independently or through product team and manage approvals.

+ Provide coaching, technical, and functional guidance on specific project deliverables to senior and junior analysts

+ Lead the enterprise Expanse deployment to the Sarah Cannon ONC community including configuration, testing, and training.

+ Develop and identify potential operational changes to streamline operations and enhance service delivery.

+ Provide tier 2 customer support to end users.

+ Practice and adhere to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement”.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

What qualifications you will need:

+ Bachelor's Degree preferred

+ Five to seven years of experience ion increasingly challenging projects with a proven delivery track record

+ Demonstrated advance subject matter experience of a service line application

+ MEDITECH Expanse, 6.15, Client Server, or MAGIC product experience A background working with a fast paced, results oriented environment

+ Experience with clinical oncology product suites

+ Demonstrate a solid understanding of EMR products and/or clinical setting exposure

+ Ability to troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of complex issues in creative ways.

+ Solid collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation skills

+ Strong problem and issue resolution experience with the ability to think strategically about a problem across platforms.
