Job Summary
The Assistant Golf Coach plays a key role in supporting the Head Coach in building and sustaining a competitive NCAA Division II golf program within the Lone Star Conference ( LSC ). This position contributes to all aspects of team operations, including player development, recruitment, training, and program administration.
Working collaboratively with the Head Coach, the Assistant Coach fosters a positive and inclusive team culture that aligns with the values and mission of the University of Texas at Dallas ( UTD ) and its Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. The program is expected to operate in full compliance with the policies, regulations, and ethical standards set forth by UTD , the LSC , and the NCAA .
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree. One (1) year of coaching experience or two (2) years playing experience in the designated sport.

Bachelor’s degree and two years of previous coaching experience, preferably at the collegiate level with a knowledge and commitment to NCAA Division II rules.
Candidates with a master’s degree and 3-5 years collegiate coaching experience, preferably at the NCAA Division I or II level, will receive immediate consideration.
